20th century ny

A collection of music written and recorded in my hometown in the 1970s and early '80s.
The good old days. A view to forever from the top of the World Trade Center.
Behold everything has changed.
Much of this music was performed
at Max's Kansas City, CBGB, Studio 54, Danceteria,
Reno Sweeney, Hurrah, TRAX, SNAFU, The Ritz, Studio One, Great Guidersleeves,
R.T. Firefly's,
The Hott Club (which burned down),
and other storied New York and East Coast venues.
"Give It Up, Kid" hit #1 on the charts in Italy in 1979 on the b side (with "You're The Only One") of the "Hey, Brooklyn" EP.
Included also are what can be
called
"The Lost Recordings"
which is a recently rediscovered
collection of tapes and performances.
I'm sure there a some more tapes out there, let
me know if you have any.
Recorded on analog equipment, some live, mastered on cassette and converted to MP3s.
